I am Head of RenderMan Creative Engagement at Pixar Animation Studios, where I work at the intersection of rendering technology, artists, studios, education, and the wider computer-graphics community.
For more than two decades, I have helped artists and technical teams use, understand, and engage with new tools.
My talks are for artists, technical artists, creative leaders, students, and anyone interested in what changes when tools give people genuinely new agency. They are visual, practical, historically informed, and sometimes humorous.

“I have seen scores of presentations from Dylan at various conferences and events around the world. In every single one, he has the unique ability to make rendering informative and educational. He brings the fun, and that’s so important. I love seeing the adaptation of his own artistic skills in his demos, and even more so, I love the way he communicates and connects with audiences.”
